Thinkers Stage
Pam Feather
SOP artist and singer-songwriter Pam Feather (1986, Rotterdam, the Netherlands) is knows for her signature sound, catchy songs and energetic stage performance, with or without her guitar. The albums sound is best described as a good blend between Soul and Pop music (or like Pam says SOP) with some nice Jazz influences. It really takes you back to the good old days when Soul music managed to put a smile on everybody’s face.

Baroness
With a sound built upon a resolute sense of purpose and shaped by hundreds of explosive live shows, BARONESS position themselves at the forefront of heavy music with their first full length and Relapse debut Red Album. Red Album is at once powerful, expressive, confident, and commanding. The record sees the band expand its sonic vision; colossal riffs and haunting vocals roll like thunder across epic songs spanning both the intense and the sublime.
Hef & Önder
Turk, alias Önder Dogan was born in 1984 in Amsterdam north. When he was just a child he moved to Madrid to follow classes at an international school. When he finished school he moved to Istanbul where he discovered hip-hop. Back in the Netherlands Turk saw hiphop-videos and fell in love with the music. Turk is Turkish, his raps are about everything that is Turkish, even the Turkish Pizza’s.
Tim Knol
In 2009, the twenty year old Tim Knol busied himself supporting a wide range of artists that lead to summer shows with Midlake etc., , as well as recording his (self titled) début album. Via a splurge of gushing reviews from the Dutch press in January 2010, trendsetting newspaper De Volkskrant, in an almost unprecedented move, awarded the LP five stars. Imagine if Gram Parsons lent a helping hand on “After the Goldrush”, and you’ve got a measure of what the lad is trying to achieve with his sound. Having said that, Knol is very far from being a clever stylist; his music is personal and demands your attention.
Babylon Circus
Babylon Circus is a French ska-punk/alternative rock band that has been incorporating a wide variety of influences. The exuberant, horn-driven outfit has favored a bilingual approach; lead singer David Baruchel sings in both French and Englisch-and manu of their songs have tackled political and social topics,
Formed by baruchel in Lyon in 1995, Babylon Circus started out as more of a straight-ahead ska band. But they ended up becoming a lot more experimental and electric, drawing on everything from reggae (which came out of ska) to Britisch punk to jazz and cabaret.

Brother Ali
Brother Ali’s last album, the critically acclaimed, The Undisputed Truth, was a landmark in hip-hop, an album that carried weight equally with critics and fans alike, an album of bold statements and bolder beats, politically and socially aware without being preachy. His new album, Us, is a progression that will make Brother Ali one of the most enduring figures in hip-hop.
